Enrapture Encode Totem Styler Review

I’ve tried and tested quite a number of hair tools over the past few years in a bid to achieve the perfect ‘do. Some of my favourites have been the Boots Hair Tongs which give Kim Kardashian curls, and the Instyler Rotating Iron which does all the hard work for you. I thought I’d seen it all when it came to hair tongs, but then the Enrapture Encode Totem Styler was released. It’s the first luxury styler to feature three independent heat zones, which allows you to create a variety of looks – soft waves, bohemian curls or ringlets – using just the one styler, depending on the code combination selected. Clever, isn’t it?!
Presented in a beautiful electric blue box, the styler comes with a removable stand, a style guide and a heat resistant pouch – everything you need for a styling session. The Totem Styler uses titanium plate technology, meaning super fast heat up and snag free, shiny curls. It also has a mini flipper, which holds hair in place for easy styling.
The 25mm barrel features a dial, which controls the temperature of the three independent heat zones, with 1 being the coolest and 3 being the hottest. The style guide advises on a variety of combinations to achieve your desired hair do. I had fun experimenting with the different combinations but the one I use most often is 1-1-1. I have fine hair so using the coolest setting all over gives soft, loose waves that are done in an instant! If I’m going out or want the curls to last a little longer, I may switch to 1-2-1 and then brush through with my fingers to loosen them up. I’ve found then Enrapture Encode Totem Styler really gives curls that last, even on the lowest heat setting, so even the day after styling, my hair still has a pretty, tousled look. I’m keen to try the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers next, for retro, bouncy curls!

Enrapture Encode Totem Styler has an RRP of around £75 and is available to buy from Boots and Debenhams
