It seems Autumn has crept up on upon us whilst we were all still waiting for summer to say hello. The nights are longer, there’s a chill in the air and the leaves are changing colour. I’m looking forward to welcoming the new season as it means cosy knitwear, snuggles in front of the fire and homemade soup. But before I embrace all the comforts of Autumn, I thought I’d share some of the last few photo’s I captured of summer before it so swiftly left us.
My first Autumnal purchase of the year have been these River Island studded ankle boots. They have the perfect sized heel and I love the khaki coloured suede paired with the gold studs on the heel. Suede isn’t the most practical material for our rainy seasons so I think I’ll be investing in the black leather pair too.
Are you sad to see the end of Summer or are you looking forward to embracing Autumn?

I love the pictures of the roses, so delicate 🙂
I have said goodbye to summer this weekend, with my last summer post- which seems quite out of place in this colder weather. I've already adopted my long comfy trousers to sleep in! X
Love those boots! I can't wait for Winter 🙂
With the awful summer we have had, I am definately looking forward to the Autumn!! xx
Beautiful photo's! xx
What pretty bunting!
The photos are beautiful! As we didn't have a proper summer I'm not too sad and am looking forward to autumn for the same reasons you stated above, knitwear, cuddles in front of a fire and yummy soups/hot chocolate 🙂 The boots are gorgeous! xx
Bring on autumn, those boots are to die for 🙂
These pictures are looking awesome and hats off for the photographer. I too was looking forward for the autumn to have some hot soup from my mum’s hand.
Your pictures look really gorgeous especially the roses.
They are very nice. I love all of the pictures.
