I’ve posted fairly regularly about my hair and the frequent dilemma I’m in when deciding on any changes to make. The first step of my transformation this time around was changing the colour. My hair was a mixture of shades – a coppery auburn for most of the lengths and blonder at the ends due to my past with ombre hair, so I chose Garnier Olia in Iced Chocolate – a rich, warm brown – to give my hair back an even brunette tone. The product itself was simple to use and I love the design of the bottle. What I particularly noticed about this product was the mild scent. Usually hair dyes leave my eyes and nose stinging from the harsh chemicals but I found this one was much more gentle, probably thanks to the lack of ammonia in the product. My hair was left soft, smooth and smelling lovely afterwards, so definitely a product I’d recommend if you like to colour your hair at home. I love the colour, it was just the shade I was after and I’m loving being a brunette again! The next step in my hair transformation is to go for the chop and have a Cheryl Cole style fringe cut in, I can’t wait!

I'm all for a hair dye with no ammonia. Sometimes I find them so overpowering I can't open my eyes. Loving the new colour and I can't wait to see your new fringe!

This color is perfect for you Amy. The CC fringe looks cute but I think your current hairstyle is way hot.

How do you get such good closeups? I struggle with lighting. Do you have any tricks that you use to get nice photos? Thanks
Amy Antoinette says
I use a Canon 600D which helps with the closeups! I use it on manual mode so I can alter the exposure to make it brighter.

Hello! so after almost 2 and half months of dye your hair with the product what you think? Because I have been reading some reviews and everybody says is good in the begin but after the washes the color fade really fast I really want to try the black 2.0 but first I want to make sure is worth it! Thanks!
