January always feels like a never-ending month. Here are a few things which have made the first month of the new year that bit more bearable…
♥ I was delighted when I unwrapped The Lumineers album at Christmas, and I’ve been listening to it on repeat ever since. I’m tempted to buy tickets for their concert from StubHub and enjoy their music live.
♥ Scented candles are lovely all year long, but since Matt and I have started dedicating one night a week to reading in bed, I’ve had a chance to put away our winter candles and enjoy softer scents, such as Fairy Dust and Gardenia Rose.
♥ My perfume collection is getting progressively larger, yet I often forget to wear any. This month I’ve been rediscovering old favourites.
♥ I’ve always loved a spot of DIY, and this year even more so. I have all sorts of projects lined up which I can’t wait to blog about!
♥ There are so many wonderful blogs which I enjoy reading daily. I follow hundreds so I thought it was time I organised and shared my favourites, so I created a blogroll page.
What have you been loving lately?

That's so sweet that you've dedicated one night a week to reading in bed, I think I ought to do that! It's so easy for us internet addicts to spend the whole time on our computers and forget about how great reading is. I also love Marc Jacobs Daisy and Miss Dior Cherie! Lovely photos 🙂

I am so with you on the Lumineers! lovely post!

I love the Lumineers! I always found that Daisy by Marc Jacobs faded a little too fast for me so I switched to a Juicy Couture fragrance which smells similar but lasts much longer. I'd definitely recommend that one for your next buy!
Lovely post!

There were a few La Maison de Senteurs goodies in my stocking this Christmas and I have to agree about their loveliness, I'm get to burn my own Gardenia Rose candle but you've tempted me with the beautiful photo so I may just whip it out this evening 🙂

One of my new favorite bands is Mumford & Sons, as well as The Lumineers. I have also been obsessed with the 'Kringle' candles as well – Blueberry is my favorite at the moment. Buying myself a bottle of Daisy soon, as I've heard great things about it lately. 🙂
